Finerestaurant and catering in down town Sacramento

There is some remodeling occurring, so bear with us. We have a new floor in the Restaurant and in the patio area. There is a larger awning for more shade and protection from the elements. We have also reorganized the kitchen which will hopefully get the food to you a little quicker.

We've retooled our menu a bit. Our menu still has the mix of California Cuisine and the Mediterranean dishes of southern France and Italy, but we have added quite a few Turkish dishes to the mix. Fine dining Sacramento, Sacramento catering, Meze, gourmet food, East Sacramento, wine, beer, pizza, steak, fish We have an expanded list of appetizers, our Turkish Meze. Come try the Turkish National dish -- Iskander Kebab - succulent beef cooked in our vertical broiler over bread cubes with a mildly spicy tomato based sauce and yogurt. We have expanded our hours and we will now be open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Check our wine list. We have new wines from Turkey and Israel. Our Turkish white is a dry fruity white, the Chankaya, that is similar in character to a Viognier. This wine matches well with our spicier dishes. The red, Yakut, is a very dry and hearty wine that stays on the tongue for a while. Its wonderful with our lamb dishes. We also have a premium Chardonnay from Israel's Ella Valley. It is lightly oaked with good acidity making it crisp, but dry for our summer fare.

We know you enjoy the food. We have made great strides in improving the service. Mike Dunne, the reviewer for the Sacramento Bee likes us. The Dining Divas also enjoyed a lunch and had some nice words to say in the Sacramento Magazine. We were also received a nice review by SN&R on August 17 last year. Need a gift? Gonul has begun to can a number of sauces, jellies and marmalades. We have a great variety of hard to find teas and spices for sale also.

We also rent the restaurant for special events at any time. Plan breakfast meetings or a special dinner. Rotary meets here Tuesday mornings at 7:15 .

Parking is available in the lot in front of Sacramento ENT across the street from the restaurant as well as behind the restaurant. Please do not park in the laser center lot.
